An illustrated book of Japanese folktales, written by dr. Andrej Bekeš, came to life in 2020 under the mentorship of slovenian illustrator docent Suzi Bricelj.

Illustrating this book was my final project at the Master's Degree of Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, Slovenia. For this work I received an award given by the University of Ljubljana for best academical achievements.

The illustrated book of Japanese Tales was also exhibited at the Bologna Children's Book Fair in Bologna in Italy as part of the presentation of Academy of Fine Art and Design of UL.
